Microprocessor control maintains the water bath at the set temperature and the times for the operation. Gas can be turned ON in a selected manifold depending on the number of samples. Evaporation is based on a water bath to give an even temperature and a gas flow delivered over a set time period. This gives the option to evaporate samples to dryness if required and reconstitute them with an alternative solvent.
